Recommended test before going live
- Ask a real stock, price or service question.
- Test one unknown question and confirm the fallback is appropriate.
- For ecommerce, test a product with variants and a multi-quantity order.
- Confirm customer details and verify that the order appears in Orders.
- Open Website Inbox and confirm the complete conversation is in the correct sequence.
Dashboard & business mode
Understand the workspace and keep ecommerce and service tools correctly separated.
Choose the correct mode
- Ecommerce mode enables Products, Store Dashboard, Orders, Commerce Analytics and Commerce Settings.
- Service mode enables Services, Quotations and lead-focused workflows.
- Website Inbox, Store Integrations, Customers, Knowledge Base, AI Agent Setup, Team, Reports, Profile & Settings and Membership are shared tools.

- Language: Auto-detect, Bangla, English or Banglish mix.
- Tone: Friendly, Professional, Casual or Concise.
- Response length: Short, Medium or Detailed.
- Fallback message: the safe response used when the assistant cannot answer confidently.
Live Test
Dashboard → AI Assistant → Live Test- 1Select Reset conversation before testing a new scenario.
- 2Send one customer message at a time and check the response sequence.
- 3Use the image attachment control when testing image-based questions.
- 4After changing settings or Knowledge Base content, reset again so old conversation state does not affect the result.
Train with the Knowledge Base
Give the assistant reliable business facts, policies, answers and service information.
Create a high-quality article
Dashboard → Knowledge Base → New article- 1Use one clear topic per article, such as Delivery Policy, Return Policy or Office Hours.
- 2Write the customer-ready answer in the Content field.
- 3Choose a category and add useful tags.
- 4Turn on Published and AI can use this.
- 5Save the article and verify it in Live Test.
Scan a website
Dashboard → Knowledge Base → Scan website- Use a public page that contains current, accurate information.
- Review imported content before enabling it for AI.
- Remove outdated prices, phone numbers and policies.
- Do not duplicate the same rule in several articles with conflicting wording.
What to document
- Business overview, products or services and contact details.
- Delivery areas, delivery fees, free-delivery rules and estimated times.
- Payment, cancellation, return, refund and warranty policies.
- Office hours, service coverage, booking requirements and escalation rules.
- Questions the assistant must hand over to a human.

- 2Enter credentials created for this business workspace.
- 3Run Test and confirm the expected product count.

- Check the correct store URL before connecting.
- Sync again after important catalogue or inventory changes.
- Verify product links and prices before customer launch.

- 3Copy the installation snippet.
- 4Paste it immediately before the closing </body> tag on your storefront or website.
- 5Publish the website and test in a private/incognito window on both mobile and desktop.
Customer identity
- The widget can collect customer details before or during a qualified order or lead flow.
- Name and phone should be captured accurately; email can remain optional when your workflow allows it.
- A returning conversation should preserve message order, while Reset conversation starts a separate clean test.
Stores, products & variants
Connect your catalogue and keep product answers tied to the exact synced item and variant.
Connect an ecommerce store
Dashboard → Integrations → E-Commerce- 1Choose Shopify, WooCommerce or Custom Ecommerce.
- 2Enter the required store URL and API credentials in the guided connection form.
- 3Choose Test and confirm that the expected product count is visible.
- 4Choose Sync and wait for completion.
- 5Open Store Dashboard to review the connection and recent sync logs.
Verify catalogue accuracy
Dashboard → Products- Search for several products and open their detail pages.
- Check current name, price, compare-at price, stock, image and product link.
- Open Variants and verify option names, prices and inventory.
- Run Sync after major store catalogue changes.
- Do not manually teach a different price in the Knowledge Base when the store is the source of truth.
Exact matching rule
- A customer asking for only a quantity, such as “20 pieces,” has not identified a product. The assistant must ask which product they want.
- When several products match, the assistant should ask one short clarifying question or show a small relevant set.
- The assistant must not silently switch to a different product, bundle or variant.
- The selected product link and card must refer to the same synced product.
Ecommerce order conversation
Follow a deterministic product-to-confirmation sequence without losing context.
Correct message sequence
- 1Identify the exact product.
- 2Resolve the exact variant when variants exist.
- 3Confirm requested quantity and stock availability.
- 4Collect only missing customer details: name, phone and full delivery address.
- 5Derive the delivery zone from the address and calculate the final total.
- 6Show one order summary containing product, variant, quantity, unit price, subtotal, delivery charge, discount and total.
- 7Ask for an explicit confirmation.
- 8Create the order only after the customer confirms.
Address and delivery zone
- A recognisable Dhaka address should be classified automatically as inside Dhaka.
- A recognisable district or outside-Dhaka address should be classified automatically as outside Dhaka.
- Do not ask “inside or outside Dhaka?” after a clear address has already been provided.
- Ask one location clarification only when the address is genuinely incomplete or ambiguous.
- The full delivery address is required before order confirmation.
Price calculation
- Unit price must come from the selected synced variant or product.
- Subtotal = unit price × quantity.
- Delivery charge is applied from the business's active delivery rule and detected zone.
- Discount must be applied once, never multiplied or deducted twice.
- Total = subtotal + delivery charge − discount.
- The saved order and the customer-visible summary must contain the same values.
Manage Orders
Find confirmed chatbot orders, review totals and move each order through fulfilment.
When an order appears
Dashboard → Orders- A chatbot order is listed after the customer provides the required details and explicitly confirms the summary.
- The order record includes customer, website or store source, product or items, delivery address, price breakdown and status history.
- Use search for order ID, name, phone or product.
- Filter by status, website/store source or payment status.
Order status workflow
- 1Pending: newly confirmed order awaiting staff review.
- 2Confirmed: staff accepted the order.
- 3Preparing: the order is being packed or prepared.
- 4Shipping: handed to delivery or courier.
- 5Delivered: successfully completed.
- 6Cancelled: order will not be fulfilled.

- Check delivery charge and total before using the export for fulfilment or accounting.

- Choose a pricing type: fixed, starting from, custom quote, contact for price or free enquiry.
- Set location, booking availability and whether the service is online.
- Archive a service when it should no longer be recommended.

- 4A quotation request appears in Quotations when pricing requires review.
- 5Staff update lead or quotation status as the opportunity progresses.

Security & data isolation

Safe operating practices
- Never paste channel, store or payment credentials into customer-facing Knowledge Base articles.
- Grant provider permissions only to the intended business assets.
- Test every integration after reconnecting or rotating credentials.
- Use unique staff accounts and remove access when no longer required.
- Each onboarded business should use its own tenant workspace, catalogue, customers, orders, conversations and settings.

- 3Publish and enable the correct Knowledge Base article.
- 4Sync the store if catalogue data changed.
- 5Reset the Live Test or website conversation.

- 5Start a fresh test and use the full product name.
Two widget buttons or styles appear
- 1Search the website theme, tag manager and custom code for duplicate Talvox AI snippets.
- 2Keep one current snippet and remove old or manually created launchers.
- 3Clear website/CDN cache and republish.
- 4Retest in an incognito window.
A confirmed order is missing
- 1Open the conversation and confirm the customer explicitly approved the final summary.
- 2Check that name, phone and full address were captured.
- 3Clear filters on Orders and search by phone or product.
- 4Check the connected workspace and website/store source.
- 5If still missing, contact support with the approximate time and customer phone number.
Frequently asked questions
Short answers to common setup and operation questions.
Does Talvox AI support Bangla?+
Yes. The assistant can use Auto-detect, Bangla, English or Banglish mix from AI Assistant settings.
Where can customers chat?+
Talvox currently supports Website Chat, with conversations managed through Website Inbox.
Can I connect an online store?+
Ecommerce workspaces can connect Shopify, WooCommerce or a supported custom ecommerce API.
How does the bot know the correct product price?+
It uses the selected synced product or variant. Keep the connected store accurate and sync after catalogue changes.
What happens when a customer only says a quantity?+
The assistant should ask which product they want. Quantity alone must never trigger an unrelated product recommendation.
When is an order created?+
Only after the exact product and variant, quantity, customer details, address and final price summary are complete and the customer explicitly confirms.
Does the customer need to choose inside or outside Dhaka?+
Not when the address is clear. The system derives the zone from the address and asks a location question only when the address is genuinely ambiguous.
Where can staff see chatbot orders?+
Open Orders. New confirmed chatbot orders normally begin in Pending status.
Can I change from ecommerce to service mode?+
Yes. Use Profile & Settings. Existing data is retained and mode-specific modules are shown or hidden.
